Solar Project

Grisport leads the way in reduction of Green House emission.

Grisports factory in Italy is located in Asolo, in the Treviso district, which is in the north of Italy at the base of the famous Dolomite mountain range, which borders Italy, Austria and Switzerland.

Grisport have undertaken an extensive self sufficiency solar power project, which when completed will provide much more energy then the factory can ever use.

This system produces sufficient energy to supply over 500 homes.

It is the largest solar panel project in Italy and represents an investment of NZ $18 million.

Total surface area of the system is 10,600 m2 with a combined area of 30,000 m2, which equates to 7 rugby fields.

When completed the system will produce 1.4 megawatt of power 1,680 kWh per annum.

Annually carbon emissions will be reduced by 1,000 tons. It is estimated that in 20 years time this project will have reduced atmospheric carbon emissions by 20,000 and fine dust 48 tons.
